Yeah. But still, the GW ones aren't flat
Female Warrior could have some muscles and athletic body build, though. I'm a bit confused when I look at them tbh.

As long as its athletic, not helga thighs. I like a trim and toned athletic not a husky butch athletic or ripped athletic for women.
Definition is good, bulk is not... hate me if you like but it just isn't appealing or feminine to be really bulked up. You know the girls you see for like aerobics fitness workout videos, where they have a six pack and defined muscles? That's perfect. But bodybuilder chicks, no. Actually bodybuilder guys are just .. yuck too.. do any girls really dig guys that are that bulked up?

I meant things like light athletics, not heavy-weight, stationary sports. Fighting training was pretty much about being endurable, agile and fast, besides having the strength needed to deal a decisive blow or stand on your legs instead of landing on your back, dagger on your throat. Male Warrior's body is overdone, but if we could choose different body types I wouldn't mind an option to either choose particular type or something else.

So lean and toned, glad we can agree on that

Lean and toned is the way to go. You have another vote there.
I'm not female, but the only thing a bulked out bodybuilder is good for is helping move heavy furniture or a deterrent/meat shield on security detail. There's a reason that the human body cannot gain that much muscle without supplements. But hey, if they had a personality and decided that agreeing to disagree was possible, I'd love to sit down with them and talk about why they bodybuild/sculpt.

Well this sounds more like you just want something that gets you on to look at. Because you don't even complain about the male butt. The male butt is also horrible, guys also have butts, last time I checked atleast. And many guys have shape to their bottoms aswell as females, the only reason ours is a little different is because our hips are different, to well, push out a baby in our lifetime.
I have no real big conserns about the butts on the females, as they look well, as normal as they can get considering the whole thing anyways. I dunno about you but I've noticed that their bodies look like they are stiched togheter, and not individual parts put togheter, and I'm guessing this might be a reason why they don't have the beyoncy ass.
I think it's kind of unfair tough, if we can change the bust and asses of females in gw2 there should be one to change the guys size too Haha

I don't look at male butts. All my male toons use armor where their butt is covered by like, an armor skirt or bottom of a shirt or tunic.
Most of my females wear skirts as well since there's nothing spectacular to look at back there, just the female mesmer elite rogue armor looks so good I had to have it. Thigh high boots, corset, tight leather leggings? Meow.

I play a mix of characters male or female. I mainly go by how the /dance emote looks like, because to be honest theres no difference in stats or abilities or anything else.
Thats why I have a;
Female Necro (Main)... male dance gives me head and neck aches just looking at it.
Female Ele (Although part of the dance routine still looks like she is successfully dislocating both shoulders)... the Male dance looks like he is trying to kick someone in the genitals while simutaniously atempting to snap his own neck.
The rest are all male chars.
Another reason is the looks of the Armor. The non elite Armor for Female Necro has some really nice options... The "Elite" fugly armors are something else all together though... Obby looks like Anet forgot to code the back of the skirt before release >.< .
Ive never gotten hassle because Im a guy playing a Female Char before... and to be honest... I dont try to hit up on anyone, and if someone tries to hit up on me because I play a girl (Guy in real life ), then Id be more worried about the other guy trying to hit up a few pixels over the internet.
EDIT:

Sex sells, the advertising departments of most companies know that and its also what they push on that game box.
so that is the answer to that one, however, just like most of the players didnt move from pve to pvp, more than just the demographics targeted bought (and played) the games....

Gah. The only attractive males in Guild Wars are few and far in between... All I can think of (as far as main characters go), is Mhenlo. I just can't see a game cover with him on it, as bald men don't quite appeal to the target female demographic; sculpted and defined as his eyebrows may be. Though I could see Shiro on the cover for Factions not because he's attractive (he really isn't ), but because of his burly and fairly eye-catching character design, so it's kind of surprising that they didn't consider lumping his mug on one of the covers.
Actually, what was on the original Factions cover? I got the CE version with the female ritualist.
Speaking of man butt, there's only one armour set that springs to mind, haha.

Well whole point was refuting the "staring at female ass vs male ass" arguement for males rolling female toons. Just saying, either way there's nothing to look at.
